Has anyone tried or heard of someone try a phalaenopsis flower bud tissue culture??

I was wondering if anyone has successfully used a flower bud from a phalaenopsis as the explant for tissue culture?

any information would be greatly appreciated, i have searched extensively but cant seem to find an answer

Flower spike tip, yes. Bud, probably not, as the meristematic tissue has already begun to differentiate.

Thanks for the quick reply i guess i will just wait until she is done flowering before i try and propagate.
