Something that you might try. For my plants that like more humidity and cooler temps I create a mini artificial environment by placing them underneath another plant that drapes around them and increases the humidity. For example I use the old mans beard tillandsia quite a lot and put a frame of some sort over the pot and grow tillandsia on the frame. This way the air movement still gets through, the humidity is increased and the air moving through the damp foliage causes a slight decrease in temperature within the area under the tillandsia.
