Default "Hairy" roots

Help!!

I've encountered a problem I've never had before.

I received 2 flasks Wednesday with some of the hairiest roots I've ever seen. Due to the roots being so hairy, I'm having a problem separating the plants. It seems like the little hairs on the roots are interwining and acting almost like glue. I tried soaking the entire plant mass for about an hour or so yesterday and that didn't help. I ended up breaking quite a few of the roots which I almost never do.
I'm thinking of de-flasking the other today and I'm hoping some of the more experienced growers might have a trick or tip that will help.

Anyone have suggestions on making it easier getting them apart??

Soaking and takin your time, that's about all I can say. But breaking some roots is to be expected with some flasks.
