Nitrogen sources used in agar formulations?

I am interested in the utilization of organic nitrogen e.g. amino acids in orchid nutrition and so I was wondering what nitrogen sources are used in various agar formulations. Can someone direct me to some information about this?

Orchid Seed Germination Media - this book is available from the Orchid Seedbank Project, and is probably the most comprehensive source by far for orchid media formulations, 125 of them. If you aren't already familiar with Orchid Seedbank Project it is time you check it out. You should easily find it with any search site.

Thanks. I found the Orchid Seedbank Project website. Is it still active? I notice that the listing of available flasks has not been updated since 2003 and the seedlist has not been updated since 2005.

Not sure about flask sales, but I just ordered the book myself. And the same guy is active on eBay.
