Default Calendar Request - Site Moderator ?

I thought it would be enormously useful to create a calendar of "events" by orchid type, and by Hemisphere. For example - Equestris spiking- June 20- N ( 1 )
- with N indicating Northern Hemisphere.
- ( 1 ) indicating the number of events reported
We could define events - spiking, flowering, scented etc

Is there a facility for such a database on OB ? It would be of help to us all, especially newbies and those exploring orchids that flower all year round. I use "events" on OrchidWiz but this is obviously limited to my own experience.

I dont know how you would really set this up, and I think this will vary wildly between growing regions, not just the northern hemisphere.
It's an interesting idea, but you should try to set this up with similar growers at your Local OS, or maybe in the region 5B, and nearby. That might help narrow it down.
Another thing to consider is that some equestris, when well grown, will spike/bud/bloom nearly year round, thus making this more difficult. But it could work for other species that are notable spring/summer bloomers like bellina.
