Exclamation Need Suggestions for a good International Orchid Wholesaler

I would love all the suggestions I can get on a great & cheap Orchid Wholesaler from Asia, South America, or any other country for that matter.

I'm looking for one that has a good price on large orders of 100 orchids or significantly more.

Lastly I wondered if anyone has had any experience ordering from or knows of Kultana Orchids or Purificacion Orchids? I would love to know how reliable they are, and if they are safe choices.

Many thanks in advance!

try doing a search on e-bay, I often see Thai orchid nurseries advertising.

Just be aware that if you are importing orchids from other countries you need to make sure all the paper-work from both your side and from the vendors side is in order. Orchids need a CITES certificate to be shipped between countries (with some exceptions) and there is often other export/import paperwork.

There have been instances of vendors claiming they've handled all that when they haven't or claiming you don't need it when you do. Someone on this forum from the USA told how they had had customs turn up on their doorstep investigating smuggled orchids... which he had bought believing them to have been coming from the USA.

It's not impossible to buy from other countries, you just need to make sure everything is in order to do it. Some vendors like Ecuagenera visit shows in other countries (they come to the UK sometimes), they then have all the paperwork to bring their plants over and are able to sell them there is no further paperwork required.

Oh, well I already know all about the process and the paperwork required from both parties. I'm really just looking around for cheap wholesale prices for large shipments.

Ok, just wanted to check

I'm afraid I can't help on where to go though. I only buy one or two at a time from Europe (because I don't need paperwork for that in the UK).
