not crazy at all ...my grandfather would not use well water to water the vegatable garden in summer but instead ran a pipe from the little creek nearby and had a pum in it for the garden ....cold water shocks

I use warm water in the winter, but when I put them outside in the greenhouse for the summer I use water from my koi pond. It is always warmer then the air.

Wow. That sort of engineering is just plain scary. Wonder what other interesting things he's bequeathed to mankind!
