home made epiweb substitute?
Default home made epiweb substitute?

hello guys, im new in this forum, but i have experience in growing tropical plants, i live in mexico and have a small tropical greenhouse, its divided in a cold and foggy "cloud forest" habitat and a warm lowland rainforest, i thought it would be nice if i could cover all the walls from the CF area with epiweb, unfortunately, in mexico we dont have that, so i invented my own, i will upload some photoes later(once i learn how)

*i used black shadecloth, i removed all the nylon threads, i started molding it ito a small ball, and then i burned it using the flame of a candle for a few second, this was to secure and make everything stronger, right now i have that small ball with a miniature unidentified mexican orchid attached to it, what do you guys think?/comments?/ideas?/suggestions? i will appreciate all

Orchids can be grown on almost anything.

Epiweb and EcoWeb (the US product I sell) are nothing more than derivatives of "scrubbie pads". If you can find a supply house that caters in janitorial supplies, you might find floor scrubbing disks that fit the bill without all of that work.
