Default Culture help for Barkeria vanneriana

Nurseries in Maryland (at least near where I live) are blessed with NOID phals, isn't that great? What a surprise when I walked into a nursery in Oregon and there was an interesting mounted barkeria in spike for $15. Now I did some google search on this particular species and I can hardly find any info other than it's a cool to warm growing lithophyte.

Is anyone growing this particular species? Or barkerias in general. I assume that since barkerias are from the same general region, the cultural requirements don't vary too much among species?
