Would anyone be interested in being interviewed?
Hello everyone,
My name is Steve and I am very new to this forum.
I hope to get to know as many of you as possible as I spend more time on this forum.
I am currently creating an Orchid magazine and am looking for people that have a website, own a nursery or are involved in some way with orchids where they would like to promote their product, knowledge or site, in exchange for a quick interview with me.
My content is aimed at providing high quality information that is practical and digestable for the novice orchid grower, please PM me if you are interested and would like to find out more.
(If it is inappropriate to have posted this message here please let me know and inform me where would have been appropriate, i only posted this message here because it seems to be where the more serious/advanced orchid growers would hang out)
Kind Regards,
Steve

Hawk Moth
I believe it's the hawk moth, and the Angraecum sesquipedale is originally from Madagascar, if i am not mistaken.
I am happy to answer any questions but may I know how this is relevant to asking for an interview though.
Kind Regards
Steve

I suspect it was a question to gauge your actual experience in orchids in an attempt to figure out if you were a human, troll, spammer, or other. Only the first is interesting.
I'll talk to anybody if you can get me when I have time...

OK. I'd recommend you fly down to Miami and spend a couple of days interviewing the guys down there.SOFLO is an orchid hot spot.R.F. ,Martin Motes, Bill Peters, Barbara Baldan, Rubin in orchids, Soroa. All of these guys have 30 plus years in the biz. The great thing about Homestead is they're all within a 15 minute drive of one another and you'll see many more nurseries not listed or found on the net.

Excuse me but Steve appears to be from Australia. "Flying down to Florida" may not be on his primary agenda right now, although the suggestion is a good one. There are also superior growers and commercial nurseries in California to consider although some still feel that the orchid world starts and ends in Florida.
I guess it all depends on the intended scope of the magazine.

I was re reading the post i made about interviewing someone, and i realised you said that you would be interested, i am very sorry for the late reply but i must have missed that last sentence.
Anyway, my magazine is just about ready to launch and i would love to interview you, could you give me your email address and i could send you the questions for you to have a look at. the whole process should take under half an hour and is designed to be a fun conversation about your experiences with orchids while trying to mix in some practical and quality advice for novice growers.
let me know what you think.

Do you have skype? yahoo messenger? all you need is a cam to cam feature in your iPad and youre set to interview anyone from the comforts of your home. a good moviemaker software can help you edit and resize your videos...do you have a virtual magazine or is it an antiquated printed glossy paper magazine like the 90's? Even Playboy and Penthouse have gone to the net...no ones reading print anymore the supermarket magazine aisle is always full no ones buying anymore...they are either listening to it or actually using their eyes to read letters on kindle and iPad...as for me: now I am used to be read to by pre-recorded books than strain my eyes
