I agree with Keith on this. Now that more of the facts are on the table, I think this plant is so genetically weak, it is going to self destruct. It might revert to a normal flower from a keki but the terminal spike tends to tell me the first scenario is the future for this plant.

I'm not really sure about that. I have heard plant can be forced to produce terminal spike just so it can give keikis and that being better option than to cross-pollinate and plant the seeds.

And I would want keikis because such phal is the most unusual I have ever seen and I doubt anyone can have. It still hasn't killed itself and if a new keiki can flower and grow for a few years before dying it is enough for me.

Because if nothing else it is a vigorous one. Apart from the no leaves thing. It really tries hard not to die on me.
