Default Mounted Trichocentrum tigrinum leaf peculiarity

Hi All! I have posted before regarding my T. tigrinum and have been caring for it for about 2-3 weeks now. I have been soaking it in a large bowl of lukewarm water every morning for about 10 minutes and I hang it in a very sunny S facing window. I have noticed some interesting looking wrinkling around the edges of some of the leaves (and a blackish color) and thought I would seek the help of you lovely knowledgeable orchid growers I have posted pictures of a close up the wrinkling and a a full shot of the plant. Just to add- there are some dry roots around the plant but there are also many green, healthy roots on it. This should be a good indication of overall plant health right? I am really crossing my fingers that I get things right with this plant and make it thrive... Thanks in advanced

I don't know this plant, but I soak my mounts every morning in a similar way.

However I know Texas is a very arid area, maybe they could do with twice a day, or a misting around mid-day.

I'm not really sure, hopefully someone more knowledgeable about mounts in your area will be able to help more.
