Full-strength vinegar is a marvelous herbicide. I use it to keep vegetation out of my brick walkway...

Dilute citric acid is good for removing deposits, too.

But to prevent them, you'd need to use distilled, RO, or deionized water fed to the fogger. Simple filtration will do nothing to remove minerals, and that's the issue.

Thanks Ray. I agree RO for the foggers is the best way to go. What do I do with all the discarded water from the RO units? I am on well water and don't want to put all that water into my septic system. Any suggestions?
