If you purchase an orchid with AM/OSBOC,HCC/AOS after the name, can you have this on your Orchid ID Tag? The orchid is in a 4 inch pot. Just curious. Can the owner then take this orchid to their meeting for judging.

Those awards should become part of the name, and you should exhibit it as such. You can exhibit it as you please. You might even get a higher award on it, although that is fairly rare. You can certainly still get ribbons, trophies, etc.

Quality awards are to the plant not the grower. So the plant gets to keep them. Your plant is a division or a clone of the awarded plant, so it is still the same plant. Cultural awards (in the AOS system, CCM or CCE) are to the grower, and probably shouldn't stay with divisions of the plant. They often do, and it is useful information (this plant can be grown well!).
