Don't know about security settings but when I first came back on this forum I tried to go to the links on this sticky thread; Catasetum series on AOS by Lars Kurth and couldn't. So . . . I downloaded them and opened with Adobe/Acrobat and no problem. Somehow I can't do the same with these abbreviation lists and I went to each site and can't do it there either.
Screw it, I'm getting Owiz again soon so no need for all this. Thanks for your concern !

If you'd like Chryss, I can transfer the pdf to a word or text document and email it to you.

Chryss, I just emailed them to you. Please let me know if you have an issue getting them. They were big files plus the 2nd one I sent was giving me some issues for some reason.

is orchidwiz and the AOS still fighting over the rights of award data and photos copyrighted by professional photographers?
I'm sorry I get so sick of hearing about these things. Theres too much money out there for the taking and the ones taking it cant seem to take enough of it.
OW runs around 300 bucks USD. Others copyrighted photos are no longer included.

Yes! and also, to use small letters for descriptions...such as bc. rather than BC. Of course, take for instance, cattleya Irene Holguin "Brown Eyes" I was taught by the older members of the Minnesota Orchid Society that this was the correct way. Not Cattleya Irene Holguin "Brown Eyes" BettyE.

Don't bother with second hand sources or incomplete lists. The Royal Horticultural Society in the UK gets to decide official names for hybrid orchid genera, and official abbreviations for natural and hybrid orchid genera. Their list is here:
