Yes. I plant them to the top of the net pot in moss also. They just love the stuff

I was trying initially to mound them like neos, but my mounding technique left a lot to be desired. Working on that still.
The water as long as its not touchin the roots isnt going to cause you any trouble. But you can drain it off if you like. Extra humidity if you need it. If you have these in an east window you can see the water in them move around from top to bottom. In the morning when its cool the water is down in the bottom. As the jar warms up some the water vaporizes and returns to the moss. It will go thru this process until it needs more watering of the moss.
