So I bought, very cheaply, flint glass from a guy on craigslist and wasn't sure what I would do with it besides make hotbeds for my vegetable garden. Well, I have some orchids that need some help and a more humid environment than, like yesterday, we had 9% humidity. So I cleaned it up and used silicone to fasten it together and to make it water tight. This is what I came up:

The two sides are higher than the adjoining two so that I can place a top piece of glass on the entire thing to regulate airflow and humidity. I'll be stocking this thing tomorrow with the plants that need the most help.

More pics to come but it's late and I'm a very sleepy guy.

Ok so I was originally going to stock this first one with some of my smaller, more tender phals but I have some phals that are being treated for bugs and that are suffering or other reasons and so they get the ICU first. I'm currently building a second one for the other tender plants.

The box is water tight and I plan on filling in the bottom with hydroton to aid in humidity.

The box you see the phal on the left growing in it a gallon sized container, to give you an idea of the size of things.

Here is another angle...

For those wondering, yes, the phal in the lower right is my schillie....so sad about it's state. It was an enormous plant at one time. It may still yet recover but in fear of losing it, I have used kieki paste to sour new babies, just in case.
