Because I didn't feel like it was necessary then to look up some articles on the subject for the 'proof' I'm a researcher in plant pathology in the broad sense, but specialized in the plant-insect interactions aspect of it so my knowledge of diseases is not quite as extensive.

Plant-insect interactions sounds interesting. I should send you the funky-looking beetle I just busted trying to nibble on a dendrobium.
