I keep mine grouped together by cultural needs. I have info on all my plants in binders, which are organized by alliances/species. So since I have both phals. and angraecoids, they have different binders. For the hybrids I have info on the parent species. I need to consult these quite frequently, but it does help to figure out when something doesn't seem quite right. I do the same for the onc. alliance, paphs, pleurothallids etc. I also have a calendar on which I note when different plants are watered, fertilized, ph, and tds. It sounds a bit neurotic, but it helps, and once the system is set up, it actually does not take extra time.
