Thank you Gloria. As fast as my plant is growing, I might get flowers as early as Fall.

Hahaha! Well it depends, if you are in the US, the paperwork we would need to draw up, would be more aggravation than trying to get it to bloom I think!! Cities, permits....my head hurts thinking about it!

I will water it more and see how it goes. I did transplat it into spaghnum in a clay pot and it seems to be doing a little better now.

hello everyone.

Chantilly Lace is what every cattleya hybrid should be . Once mature, it blooms out of every new bulb, regardless of season. If you can keep it growing all the year, you will see flowers at least twice a year or more. Each bulb takes about 3 months to grow and produce a spike. It needs lots of light for fast growth. Mine is now used to taking almost full texas summer sun.

It has a short period of "rest" after flowering, maybe 1 month and then you can see a new set of bulbs and roots growing again.

I noticed two small buds on my Diaca. Chantilly Lace 'Twinkle' today. So I think the culture is to keep evenly moist and very bright light.

I just noticed two buds on my Diaca. Chantilly Lace 'Twinkle'. So I am thinking that the secret to success is as previously stated, evenly moist and very bright light.
