Default Water and Fertilizer

I have been around long enough on this forum and have seen tons of threads about what fertilizer to use. The stuff I currently am using has gone up in price... what else is new! I am thinking very seriously of changing over to the MSU formula. The Mg and Ca content of my tap water is 7 ppm and 28 ppm. These sound like small quantities to me but then what do I know! Should I still use the "regular" formula w/o additional Mg and Ca? I grow lots of paphs, some of which do benefit from additional Mg and Ca. Ray, are you there????? Hello????

Sorry, Doc. Was down in FL (my mom had a stroke), came back and am now in NC on a speaking tour.

The MSU RO formula will add roughly 75 ppm Ca and 18 ppm Mg to your water when used at the recommended 125 ppm N concentration.

I'm not certain what your resulting pH will be,but I'd bet it'll be fine.

Likewise, I would expect that all of our thoughts/prayers are with you and your mom.
