Phal I REALLY need to divide!!
I've got like three plants on this thing and it's humongous!! The flowers are gorgeous so I wouldn't mind having a couple anyways. May sell the third one....Dave? LOL! Or if you want to trade....I will consider that as well!
Here is a picture of the flower....

Very nice and you know I would love to have a piece. Hmmm, not sure what I have to trade right now - but I always have a few $ in my pocket!

I may just give it to you anyways! Then if you've got a piece of something cool and interesting down the line, well you know where to find me!

If this were mine I would never divide it. I find multiple growths on Phals to contribute to larger blossom displays. I've had 5-6 blossom spikes on a couple Phals in the past.

I agree with Ross
I divided one of mine a few years ago and the plants appear healthy they have not bloomed since!

Unfortunately I have not rebloomed it since I bought it over 2 years ago. Don't know what I am doing wrong.....I have other Phals that have bloomed. I thought mabe this was why?
The plant is just getting so awkward and hard to put anywhere becuase it's growing in every direction! LOL
I may just cut off the one part, which is actually growing off a stem as Dave (Oscarman) and I discovered yesterday....and leave the other two.
It definitely needs to be repotted though. There is also not very much media in the pot any more I noticed....maybe this is why it won't bloom?
Actually I should update that picture above...it's now much bigger than that!!

I'd recommend going to bigger pot (if you can) and new medium.

Does this apply to species as well as hybrid/cross breed phals?
