Wood basket or not, If it were mine I would NOT divide! I personally like big Phals that end up with lots of spikes. Just my preference.

Nice and healthy! It must like it's surroundings. What medium are you using?

Looks great Dorothy!! I would not divide it. I'm with Ross.
Sphag in a wooden basket is not a bad idea...will dry quickly.

Very nice, Dorothy
I use sphag on my catts, phals and some others, but I don't like the idea of pure sphag. Which is why I cut it up and add coarse rok / large perlite. It totally change the way I look at sphag!

Hey, a fellow orchadist in our society gave me three babies of this one. I did buy one but killed it. The three are in the same pot and are doing well! Yah! They are really small yet though.

Hey, I just may try this myself! I started using sphag only for most of my Phals and they are actually doing quite well....I have a very dry home so there is no chance of them staying too wet anyways. I may try this for my Phrag's and Phaphs though....
Two Phals that I transplanted into bigger pots and spaghnum spiked for me right away after I did this...that has NEVER happened before for me!
