Oh boy, now we are copping the flood waters in Brisbane. Hasn't stopped raining now for nearly 5 weeks. I've been seeing birds, dogs, cats, possums in pairs now. What is this telling me?
Occasionally we catch sight of the sun, but only for an instant. Only occurred on maybe 2 or 3 days. Our catchment dams are overflowing and major highway up north cut in several places. God help the poor people with no homes left.
What are your weather forecasters saying (if anything)? Pardon my ignorance, but is Queensland also the state that has been experiencing severe droughts over the last several years?
I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of this. The images and videos are just down right sad and scary to look at .
My heart goes out to all that have been and are now affected by these monster floods.
Sending good vibes and best wishes to all. Please stay safe until mother nature calms her fury and the good times find you once again.
Quite right, we experience a big drought about 8 months ago. But this is Australia, snow, deserts, drought, floods, high temperatures, low temperatures, weird animals, crocodiles, kangaroos, emus, a couple of deadly snakes. The weather prediction is sun this Sat.Sunday, then back to rain after that. Just pray no cyclones are coming, as this is the season for it.
