Hi Donald,
I bought this phrag about 4 years ago and promptly tried to kill it. I repotted into Hydro-stone (s/h) about 3 years ago and haven't repotted since. Since it has recovered from near death it has been very happy. I grow it in or near a south window in normal house conditions. I water it enough to keep it standing in water, maybe every 4 or 5 days. I use our well water which thankfully my orchids like. I feed with fertilizer manufactured by Green Care Fertilizers which I distribute under the name of The Crystal Jungle. You can visit their website to view the label or let me know and I will send you a copy. I feed about once every 3 or 4 months although to tell the truth I can't remember when I fed it last. I flush it with water occasionally. This is basically how I grow all my orchids except the mounted ones and some that require a rest. Any more ?'s I will be glad to answer. Thanks for your interest. Deb

I grew in SH quite a bit, but I may not have used the best brand. It tended to dry out at the surface quite a lot, which made me worry that they weren't getting enough water. I misted the surface often. For the most part, they grew well in SH
I don;t think it would be easy to find here, and would be expensive to ship.
