Den. Super Star x Ise 'Pearl'. This plant never ceases to amaze me as it blooms in late April and continues to do so until July. It presently is in bloom now and has multitudes of buds ready to burst open. Great fragrance also.

Although not my favorite color, this Den. Taksin 'Utopia' x Mary Caine never ceases to amaze me.
The link to the photo is this past Spring's bloom cycle. It got confused with the weather change and is in full bloom again but this time with a lot more white.
Critique
It was a gift with purchase from Incredible Orchids and came in bloom in a light pink blush.
It seems to change colors depending on the weather and water.
But I love all of my Dendrobiums equally. They are my favs.

If forced to choose one from the seemingly infinite possibilities, it would surely be a large Vanda with significant coerulea in its lineage (the bluer the better).
In the more practical world, if I had to choose my favorite of the orchids I have, it would be whichever most recently came into bloom.
If it were a choice at the store / greenhouse / nursery it is definitely the one I am about to buy.

If I had to pick it would be Masdi Veitchiana. I love the Masdies in general and this one has such wonderful red flowers and I've found I can actually get it to bloom for me
But all orchids, I really don't want to choose because I love them all and love when I get something new to flower.

Hmmm... my top three (in no particular order!) would be: Guarianthe aurantiaca, Prosthechea cochleata, and my very large NOID Cattleya. They all bloom like clockwork in their seasons and grow very well! The large cattleya is a bit late this year, but is in full bloom right now! I just got a new camera, so photos will be in the Catt forum this weekend. It is huge, gorgeous, and smells great!!!!

I grow mostly Cattleyas. My favorite yellow catt is definately Blc. Alma Kee 'Tipmalee'. It's a strong grower and a reliable bloomer. I like the size and shape and the pure colors.
My favorite species so far is C. Percivaliana. Again it's a strong vigours grower and a very reliable bloomer.

My favorite orchid at the moment is Cirrhopetalum medusae. Just a fascinating flower and an orchid to boot.

Favorite orchid
My favorite orchid right now is Blc. Hausermann’s Holiday ‘Christmas’ I received a part of my sisters large plant (that she paid $75 dollars for) when I helped her divide it. I gave her directions as to how to care for her plants. One year after dividing my plant is blooming and growing fine, hers are dying. She didn't follow any of my directions. She asked me to bring them home to try to save them(she had two pieces one large pot with the newer pseudobulbs and one pot with the older pseudobulb). When I took them out of the pots they were almost rootless and the leaves looked terrible. I re-potted them and put them in my green house on a large stone tray with a plastic bag over them. Now the larger plant is going to bloom for me and the smaller has a sheath but no flower yet. I love this plant because it is so resilient and greets me with a wonderful fragrance when I come into the kitchen.
