My at-the-moment favorites are the miniature oncidiums. I have them amassed by the TV at the moment and when they were in bloom the whole living room would smell so good!!! Plus the array of colors... I wish the sudden cold hadnt killed off my last blooms.
Cattleya's are my all time favorite. I love big, floofy flowers that smell sweet out the wa-zoo! And as most of you know, the Goldenzelle's are a particular favorite due to their form, size and fragrance.
I think I am like so many others when stating my favorite orchids are the ones that have blooms on them. But if I have to pick just one, I would have to say my Phaius Tankervillae because it's flower stalks are about as tall as I am! What's not to love about an orchid that blooms that many flowers right up to the tip of your head, lol...
If I could grow coccinea as well as cuthbertsonii I wouldnt be able to choose either. Having a tiny plant that stays in bloom for 9 -10 months is awesome though.
