Welcome to Orchid Board! My experience in South Florida has been that some of the smaller cattleyas and vandacous orchids do very well in the heat. My phalaenopsis don't seem to do as well in the mid-summer heat. There are orchids that will grow in almost any environment so you just need to do a little research. Good luck.
