At one time I though they were adding microbial supplements but when I asked them directly they said no.

Their manager is experimenting with some samples of Companion and Essentials I gave them since I liked it so much. I do not expect them to every add it as a supplement because of cost and we do not know how long the mixture would be stable. All three can stay in the concentrated form for 2 years and still be active. His tests show an increase of microbial action.

There is no restriction to shipping these items internationally. I have shipped to Canada, Europe and Australia. With new flat rate shipping the cost is not very high. I guess I should post a classified on the forum.

By the way I have been given another product to test called Thrive. Based on the list of ingredients I expect it to act much the same as Companion. It is predominately Bracillus subtilis bacteria, the main ingredient in Companion.

Cost and usage is also about the same.

This thread has been great. One of he lessons from it, I think, is that there's a lot of overlapping terminology. Perhaps some of the overlap is due to regional differences, perhaps due to marketers taking generic names and using those for commercial products.

It seems that "worm juice" could mean anything at all. I reported the terminolgy that I'm personally familiar with, as a home worm-boxer, having had vermicomposter tips shared with me by others here in California.

And it seems that "worm tea" could also refer to a variety of things: The steeped liquid which some plant owners make with castings (worm manure), or the vermicompost's normal drain-off liquid, or a specific commercial product which sounds different from anything which any do-it-yourself vermicomposter could obtain from their own box.

Bolero, I obtain Worm Tea from "Worms Downunder" here in Qld. They are based at Montville. If you google their website, you will be able to find their contact email. I purchase 4 lts.@ $13 plus del. of approx. $10 . I purchased 8 lts. Delivery arrived in Brisbane next day.

Is the Thrive you got by Technaflora? Was it the Red or Green if by them?
I was recently given a sample of House and Gardens Root Excelurator(may have spelt that wrong) its supposed to be beneficial fungus & bacteria, Root stimulator and food for the beneficials all in one very concentrated formula. I may give it a try on some of mine sickly chids. Has anyone tried/heard of it?
