Default poison to roots
So i heard some glazes on pots may be pioson to your orchids roots. has anyone heard of this and is it true? could it be that some glaze has lead in it?

Red glazes often contain lead. Some glazes, especially those with crystalline "stars" are heavily laden with zinc.

In general, it is better not to use glazed pots at all, so the pot can "breathe".
