My objective.....

Truth be told, I'm a 42 year old heterosexual male who had been out of a relationship for some time and having difficulty getting a date. In 2002 I was living in a house where the previous owner worked for a nursery and I had a lot of interesting and unique plants around the property. I got a green thumb that summer and went crazy trying vegetables, bulbs, perrenials, vines etc. and after realizing I was spreading myself too thin, finally settled on just orchids because I thought it would be a good way to meet women. Naturally, at my first society meeting I discovered to my dismay that I was the youngest person there and the average age was probably late 60's. Over time I killed my share experimenting with under lights and windowsill culture and have sworn to quit this hobby on a few occasions. I'm beyond hope however because I now have a greenhouse plus an indoor growing area and probably in excess of 300 plants, most of which are now living more happily and healthily as I learn more and advance as a grower. Still no relationship but that would take away time from fertilizing, watering and repotting anyway.

From one 42 year old heterosexual male to another, I feel your pain.
