I am moving away from growth hormones like superthrive etc purely because i want to reduce variables and simplify .I will use KLN only on bare root or poorly rooted plants .
If my plants grow well on my feeding regime ,then there is no need to give them anything else .
I believe orchids need feeding year round , i feed at every watering even in winter ,but for cool resting Dens for example will obviously get less waterings so will also be getting less feed so may only be once in 4 - 6 weeks depending on how dry they are,in summer more waterings = more feed so could be 2-3 times a week .
