Orchid Pedigrees
It would be really nice if you could just look up a family tree for a hybrid.
RHS is awesome. But sometimes I wish I could just see the whole pedigree laid out for me, instead of searching for each parent in turn.
Is there such a search engine out there, that I just don't know about?

Yes, it's called Orchidwiz, and it's expensive, but it rocks.
Worth the money if you're into breeding, or fairly serious about collecting.
Wildcat is not as good, but i think it's free now? And not being updated. But you should be able to download it for free somewhere.

I wasn't aware that Orchidwiz displayed an actual family tree, that's good to know. I'm not quite to the point where I can afford it yet.
I might look into Wildcat. Strange name for something orchid related.

I think OrchidWiz is quite INexpensive considering everything it does. Searchable hybrid database, award information, thousands of pictures, family trees, cultural information for virtually all species as well as hybrids, a database for your own collection and wishlist, look up offspring and 'cousins' to find similar hybrids, and so much more. I could spend thousands of dollars on books and spend all my free time looking up information online and not come close to replacing it.
