Default winter rest for Dendrobium scabrilingue, Schlimmia and Peristeria

Hello,

I have found a few different opinions. Could somebody tell me shortly if Dendrobium scabrilingue, all species of Schlimmia and Peristeria elata need winter rest and what are the best temperature ? As I know Dendrobium and Peristeria need rest, but it is not sure how low temperatures they need.

I know that other Dendrobium with black hairs don't need a rest. I try to water about once a week in the winter and two or three times a week in the summer

I try to keep mine around 20˚c during the day and around 15˚c night

It looks like the one you have dose need a cool dry period to initiate blooming at least that is what it said at IOSPE PHOTOS

The one I have is a nigro-hirsute Dendrobium and it doesn’t need to get as dry. Sorry for the misinformation before
