Default Misting pump

Hi there, just found this website.
Looks excellent.
Have just built my first orchid greenhouse.
Its a 20'-0" x 10'-0" Rion.
Am doing the finishing up things which are taking 4 times as long as putting the thing together, know what I mean?

I need to buy a 115v pump for a misting system, one that can run dry if something goes wrong. I already have the plumbing and misters.
I am going to attach it to a humidistat to mist the gravel floor.

Would appreciate any suggestions about where to buy one.

Jerry

Are you planning a system like Texas Greenhouse equipment? Then it is driven by water pressure, not pump. They make auto-timer controlled solinoids system and valve that turns the water line open and closed. Better than a pump in my estimation.

I see, but I know from using tap water and misters before in my last greenhouse (even with a calcium filter) that everything turns white from the impurities.
I plan on using a reverse osmosis system to fill a few 40 gal storage drums and then pumping the pure water through misters, but can't seem to find another pump like the one I used before.

Gotcha! Contact Andy at Andy's Orchids out your way. That's what he does.
