Watering support
OK - I know that each grower has special conditions and that no two are really the same and require the same approach.
That being said, I'm essentially looking for support/feedback/laughter to see if what I'm doing is within the bounds of "normal", whatever that may be.
Growing situation: I grow mainly Catts underlights (T5) in temperature (65 - 80 degree F ) and humidity (60%) controlled dedicated indoor growing room.
All of my orchids are in vanda baskets with a bark/cork/charcoal mix.
Air circulation is good over the growing areas.
I am watering about every other day with RO water, feeding once per week.
I had some issues with pbulbs shriveling at the start of growing under these conditions. The roots looked good, however, so I increased my watering schedule from 2 times per week to every other day.
My question: Am I watering too much??
I understand that any answer will be an opinion or a WAG (Wild A** Guess), but I'm curious to see if I'm overdoing it or am on the right track.
So far, no rot or mold, by the way.
Thanks in advance for any feedback!
