Did I get a good price?
I bought this large Coelogyne pandurata last Friday at a sale up at the Univ of FL Botany Dept. Its very healthy and large, there are 4 established pseudobulbs and new growth coming out as well. The cost was $20. I thought this was very reasonable. I have been looking online to try to find one for sale for comparison but have struck out. Did I get a good price?

That's a pretty good size plant there. It is DEFINITELY blooming sized, so yes, $20 for that division was a GREAT price!

Looks so big! But how big is it exactly? My friend is trying to find big pandurata, but all of them appears big in terms of the number of bulbs and small in terms of the size of those bulbs and leaves....

well, the dog weighs 55 lbs and is over knee high. The leaves are almost all over 2 ft long.

I think you've got a good price. I wish I have two of the same size and for the same price (for myself and my friend).

I agree, you've got a good price! pandurata is a large plant and has big spikes with lots of green flowers! Mine not bloomed yet, but I can tell you something: it grows fast (really), choose another big pot for it!
