Tuberolabium (Saccolabium) / odoratissimum

Anyone grow this miniature? I just purchased it and would like some further tips on care/cultivation. I read some stuff online, and it doesn't seem to be too high maintenance. Thanks!

I don't grow this species.

I have Tuberolabium kotoense. I've also grown Tuberolabium woodii.

They're not terribly difficult plants.

Low to moderate light. Regular watering with a slight dry out. Intermediate to warm. Moderate to high humidity.

Slow growing.

Potted or mounted culture is not a problem. Either method is not especially difficult.

I got my Tuberolabium kotoense at Norman's Orchids. But they're offered at Oak Hill Gardens for much less.

Tuberolabium kotoense is about the same size as a normal sized Neofinetia falcata in height. The leaves are between 3 to 5 inches long.

thanks. i didn't see them but I'll check out both places. I'm attracted to the scent and the fact they're miniatures, to be honest.

Just ordered mine from andys. What's your care? Planning on putting mine in my terrarium.

Terrarium not needed.

Intermediate to warm (55 F - 95 F).

Moderately bright indirect light.

Moderate to high humidity (60% - 90%).

Can grow potted or mounted. If you're busy, and have tons of other orchids, I recommend growing potted with large grade bark.

Allow to dry out between waterings.

They are moderately slow growing.

Flowers are fragrant.

Moderately easy growing.

I no longer have this plant. I don't think it got enough light. I used to grow it in bright shade. I think it could've used the moderately bright indirect light better. I haven't gotten around to a second attempt yet. Maybe some day I'll try another one.
