Fastest growing orchids

I am wondering which orchid seedlings grow the fastest for you? So far my stanhopeas out the flask seem to be the front runner but I am interested in other species that grow faster than average Cattleyas and neofinetia are very slow for me. Phals are pretty fast, but I would love to hear what grows well for everyone else.

I've not grown from flask but my Onc. Sweet Sugar has been nothing less than spectacular. I bought it as a 3 growth plant a little over a year ago. It now has about 30 growths, with two flowered spikes and 3 new spikes forming. That and the colour is phenominal.

It has bloomed for me about 6 times since I've had it ( new blooms continuously after old blooms) so often I've lost count.

In the past Onc Twinkle 'Fragrance Fantasy' grew pretty fast. I was able to make 3 divisions in less than one year.

Many of the Masdevallias, Draculas, and Pleurothallis I used to own grew fast too.

My current "Speedy Gonzalezes" are Disa tripetaloides, Lepanthes antilocapra, and Pleurothallis claviculata.

Actually, most of my current collection are medium to fast growing.

i stick with the cattleyas....they grow pretty fast for me in the greenhouse....

I forgot how fast oncidiums grow. I may try a disa too. My cattleyas seem to grow pretty slow when they are seedings. Thanks! Pat

Oncidium sphacelatum. Without a doubt. Goes from a 5 bulb division to outgrowing a 18" pot in a year.

Oncidium sphacelatum is the one plant I won't have in my greenhouse, LOL! I spent way too much time repotting those monsters! They are kind of like the 'Blob' they just keeping growing and growing and consuming everything in their path. Of course if the flowers had some pink or lavender in them I might reconsider Pat

I would love to live in a warmer climate, where I would mount them to trees, where they can fulfill their potential size.

I have flowered Masdevallia after two years out of flask ,the plants are not big yet but am getting the first flowers which is encouraging !
