I failed to put the heater on one night and believe that it was about 37 degrees. I have noticed that they have shown cold spots on the bottom of the leaves, in places. Yet some of them have now turned into a fungus throughout the leaves. Are there any suggestions of what I can do other than throw a couple of thousand out?
I live in the same general area. My GH has gotten down to almost 32 a time or two. Everything survived, even the phals. Are you sure it was the cold or did a fungus sneak in there when you weren't looking. Probably, the physan would do no harm just in case.

The temperature alone would not harm the Phals. I often go to the low 30s with hundreds of them.
However cool temperatures moisture and stagnant air will cause Phythion fungus. Physan will not do anything to Phythion. Physan is a contact algaecide with some effect on bacteria. It just does not work on fungus.
You would have to try Subdue or aliette. Cutting off the infected areas is the fastest cure.
