Thanks Vanessa
that is what I thought and so I did it Saturday.
the old medium was incredibly compact and old but nothing rotten and the roots where ok.
I decided like you said that beeing in a new medium woul help to grow new roots. I put it in bark with a bit of charcoal and a very small part of sphagnum. I have other laelia (even another tenebrosa) in pure sphagnum it' can be a good medium for still young ones but for adults I usually put bark. I buy big pieces of bark that I cut to the size needed depending on the orchid I have to repot.
I hope that one will be happy in its new medium...It's resting now because of after bloom and repotting
