The weekends haul

Hi everyone.
I've got 13 new ones. Yes thirteen!
I made some time yesterday to drive to Cloud's Orchids, I obviously spent too much money but I'm young, single, and employed, so I'll take advantage while I can.
Anyway, here's the list and a few pics.

C. walkeriana
This one's potted in a small clay pot with a few large stones as the medium, it's getting good humidity (70% - 80%), but these stones are a little new to me so I'll have to toy with different watering schedules for it, see what fits. How do others pot their walkeriana's?

Nice haul for a young, single, employed individual!

In all seriousness, they do look great! Congratulations on your new additions.

As for C. walkeriana, I am growing mine mounted on a piece of grape wood. I water it daily so it doesn't dry out, and I give it bright light near the top of my shade house (50% shaded in south Florida). When I first mounted it, the older leaves got wrinkled, but it quickly put out new roots and two new leaves, and is doing nicely now.

I just got the news letter update for Cloud's. I was pondering a couple you got, Den wassellii and a Bulbo. Fortunately they are quite a drive from me here in Windsor, or I might be in trouble with the Hubby.

Seriously, I've read that walkerianas do better mounted than potted. Good luck!!!
