Default Algaecides

I have a real problem with water collecting between the plastic panes of my GH and consequently growth of algae. What algaecides would you reccommend to rid my GH of this unsightly problem? I want it gone! While I appreciate resolving the condensation problem would stop the algae, this issue can't be changed since the twin wall construction aren't sealed units.

Could you use a pump lawn and garden sprayer filled with Physan 20 to kill what’s in there then if you could so how apply heat to drive off the moister you could run some beads of silicon RTV to seal the seams and keep the water from returning??

Are the photos rotated?

As all polymers are permeable to one degree or another, multiwall polycarb is intended to be installed with the channels running vertically, sealed at the top with aluminum tape, and at the bottom with a micro-perforated tape to let condensation drain out. It's only when that gets clogged that I see algae.

Thanks Ray, photos are tken from different directions, not rotated and these are acrylic not polycarb. and unlike the polycarb channelled sealed stuff these are designed to be installed horizontally. I guess the cost of sealing the edges and changing the direction would be too costly????

Doc, Since I have the same GH, I understand your problem. But this last fall, I sealed all the edges inside and out with a tape I found in the Home Depot insulation section. It is shiny and sticks to the aluminum and the acrylic. It really seemed to help. I waited until after the summer sun had dried up all the moisture in between. Betty

RTV is cheap, silicone that either comes in a tube or a caulking gun tube. I'd think that would be your answer after you've got rid of the algae.
Sorry, I can't help with the removal of Algae, as I don't know the products you have in you country.
