Very true. Once my tax return comes in, it'll be time to pay Andy's site a little visit haha. It definitely helps the mood when you get something new like that.

Hey the Aussie government is giving everyone who lodged their tax returns last year a $900 bonus credit in the next month. So we can go out and spend it in the economy and keep things going.

We are on a fixed income with no house car CC ect.payments . But we also pay the inflated prices on all the other things . I have become selective about ones I would want to buy . Gin

I've still been buying, just not as often as I do. I also tend to look for better deals like on ebay for things I may want. Or at least combine shipping on plants from the same seller.

I just had foot surgery, and the sad thing is I'll probably be making more money on short term disability than with my regular job since I'm in sales.

Very nice! I'm always curious how many people on here live around here. And I hear you with that disability paying more than a job...I just got unemployment, and it pays more than my last job did by a good margin! Luckily there's a good prospect on a job for me at a pain management center, so we'll see!
