Naoki if you want to pay for the shipping I will give you mine! Here is a link first so you can see which one it is. Ultrasonic Water Fogger-The Mist Maker Scroll down to the model MQ01 Fogger for shallow water container. I didn't purchase it from this website though.

Try cleaning it. Use 50% water and 50% vinegar to soak the device for 30 mins. See what happens before you throw it out.

Becca, if the "cleaning" does not work, I will take your offer. Thank you.
Maybe, I should take it back to the store.

My offer still stands, but if you just got it within the last 30 days I am sure they would honor the return if they are good company!

Ultrasonic foggers work well in enclosed environments (and the look really cool, too), but are not of much value as a room humidifier, because their overall output is too low, per transducer - typically about 300ml/hr (~2gpd) for "consumer grade" devices.
"MainlandMart" is the primary importers of them:

What about the kinds that are designed for humidifying rooms, rather than producing "party fog"?

That 7135 model has a 3.5 gpd output, better, but still not wonderful.
You really need to consider the size of the room to be humidified and its connectivity to other rooms and the outdoors.
Folks really don't understand just how much air exchange their living spaces possess. For example, it only takes 1 cup of water (~1/2 lb) to keep 1000 cubic feet of air at 50% RH at 74°F, and if a 2 gpd evaporator could maintain that, you're looking at a complete air exchange every 45 minutes!
The greenhouse my collection is in is about 2000 cubic feet volume, but with the leakiness of the structure (doors, shuttered vents), I use about 10-15 gallons per day to keep the humidity around 70%
