I was wonering if anyone has tried to grow an orchid on a chia head before and what type would work on it.

If you were to grow something on a chia head it would want to be moist at all times, so maybe something like a pleurothallis or maybe a masdevallia

I think it would work, I have a Bulbophyllum growing on a slab of a terra-cotta pot.

If given the right environment, there aren't too many things that an epiphytic orchid won't attach too.
