yeah the more i look into it, the more i think i don't have the right environment for them, little to cool in the pacific NW, Ray, you mention of the cooling quality if the evap is a good one.
looks like i am more likely to switch over to S/H, i have bad watering habits, in both ends of the spectrum, depending on what else is going on in my life, something that evens that out a bunch for my orchids would be a really good thing.
i've been shopping for nice glass containers that i can drill, i am getting sick of having my house full of plastic pots and i'm a bit to clean and modern for many cache pots
