Orchid Collection Database - Orchid Board

I am looking for a good simple and practical database for recording my orchids in my rapidly increasing collection. Has anyone got an idea of what there is and what is considered the best criteria for use in a private collection?

This is a very good question! I also am looking for a simple method of keeping track of my collection.

Excel? Simple, easy, and almost everyone has it. It's what I use. You can't easily include pictures, but you can include everything else, including bloom records. Takes about 45 seconds to set up the fields you want.

I tried Excel and it works well ... but I do need a place for placing photos showing color variations of flowers and sometimes in plants.

Along the left side of the page is version 3.0 is that the one you were downloading???

No Tess, I did this one, as it's the "latest one", middle of top of page. And junk one I guess? NOW AVAILABLE: Cattleya-Log version 4.0.3 b - DOWNLOAD IT HERE
