moisture loving minis

Hello, Im not sure where this should go but

I am seeking any miniatures, under six inches including flowers, that would respond well to constantly having moisture at their root system, flowing water. I am planning a new terrarium with a slab of Lavarock at the rear which will become a waterfall towards the bottom of the tank and would like to know if any minis could tolerate having thier roots constantly flowed over by water. Would this be similar to semi hydro, should this go in that category. Does anybody have a set up like this and has had any success. Also im not too familiar with them but are there any miniature or dwarf Disa species or hybrids that could also go in the pool towards the bottom of the tank, something under 20 inches would be best, including flowers and roots/pot.

I think Draculas might fit the bill. They are known (some of them) to grow along edge of waterfalls in their native habitat.

Do you know of any specific species that could go on the rock?

It's a spreader (it will grow to fill the space you allot.)

Nice, I like the coloring. Are you familiar with this species Ross. Do you know of any others that like to be real wet. If i can find some more like this I will have a cliff in the background covered with them. Thankyou.

I have three of these plants. They will do real well wet and low light.

I would go with Draculas as well, they love constant moisture. That explains why I never flower mine.

how are draculas temperature wise.

I would think a minimum of 6C (43F) and a maximum of about 29C (84F) should be ok.

Keep them heavily shaded and moist.

Are there any reccomendations for snything mini and temperature tolerant, I can do the 84 during the winter but summer is evil here and I dont think I could keep it under 90 in the poor thing. Any warm growers in the mini category.
