They are all over Panama', particularly along the coast growing on mangroves and sea grapes. They don't seem to have a season here. There is one large plant on a neighbor's nance tree that hasn't been out of bloom for more than 4 years. This plant gets moderate light and has a dry season (Chiriqui), but Manuel waters it every third day in the dry season by turning the hose on it.
